Lecture will be held at SB 302.

Private equity funds are known to be investors who monitor their holdings through Board meetings and create value through financial engineering. Meet a team which has delivered a global top 1% performance in the past ten years but had never uttered those expressions. Oriens’ two partners will talk about why they are owners as opposed to investors, why they control companies instead of monitoring them, and why they prefer spending their time on the factory floor and not in the Board room.

Ms Flora Macher is a founding member and now a partner of Oriens. She is responsible for Oriens’ consumer business investments. She is also the firm’s CFO.
